Rock to Paint
The Rock to Paint workshop offers a chance to connect to the natural elements found in the participants immediate environment, connecting to what is around them and their relationship with nature. The workshop create space to pause, observe and reflect on the spiritual links we have to our surroundings under the guidance of the Artist Meryem Meg.
The workshop happens in two sessions over a weekend.
OUR WEEKEND TOGETHER INCLUDES:
DAY 1: Making the paints
Presentation : Pigment to paints, sourcing and filtering process
Groups take turn creating their paint
Reflection and talk for next session
DAY 2: Using handmade watercolour & gouache to create paintings
Reflection introduction and looking at all the paints made the day before
Prompt about nature found in Antwerp
Painting session
Reflection on paintings created
Ticket price includes all materials and light refreshments.
