Make your own pigment and painting using collected rocks from Antwerp
The Rock to Paint workshop offers a chance to connect to the natural elements found in the participants immediate environment, connecting to what is around them and their relationship with nature. The workshop create space to pause, observe and reflect on the spiritual links we have to our surroundings under the guidance of the Artist Meryem Meg.
The process is a collaborative experience where participants will be working together to make the tones into gouache and watercolours. To create their own pallets that represent the city they live in.
OUR TIME TOGETHER INCLUDES:
Presentation : Introduction from Meryem into her practice and the process of making the pigments from rocks + Q&A
Demonstration of how we create the paints with the pigments and mediums
Group make their own paints and create their pallets
Reflections on the session
Clean up time
NOTE: Paints will need to stay overnight to dry, and can be collected after that
Ticket price includes all materials and light refreshments.
